Why not? It's not like buying votes is illegal. Why do you think MAGA and SCOTUS went to all the trouble of allowing anyone to donate any amount of money, and do it invisibly? It's all to raise the money to Buy Votes, in one way or another.

They've done I his before, spent billions of dollars and lost, or didn't make much impact. It doesn't help your cause when your candidates ads are come on, the TV, and instead of being swayed by the argument, most of the viewers take note of who to vote against.
All they are doing is spending billions to promote MAGA, which everybody HATES. The money isn't going to change that hatred, it's just going to paint all candidates bright red, and make them unelectable.
And Republicans know it, which is why much of the right's campaign literature and ads you'll see this Fall won't include their party, because they know their party is toxic.
I'm expecting a bunch of them to just bitch about Israel and genocide and how the Democrats will be "just as bad" yet again.

They've got an old reliable boogeyman who hasn't come out to party for a while, so they'll dust him off, and send his creaky bones out for a turn on the dance floor - Communism. It's going to be all about Communism and the rise of the Red Menace in the Democrat Party.
What BOTH parties don't get, is that a LOT of people, especially young people, are fed up with both sides, and Socialism - a little light Communism - is sounding pretty good right now. A third of Dems already support the Democratic Socialists, which mean even more are cautiously leaning that way, too. About 50% of Democrats are listening to DemSoc candidates, in one of the most contentious elections in history.
A LOT of people, including some on the other side, are starting to think that ANYTHING would be better than this.

Last June, a UN report found Israel intentionally targets children in order to extinguish the Palestinian people. Literally bombing maternity wards in order to make sure as many babies are killed as possible. Why can't you treat the subject with at least some respect? Why do you feel the need to belittle it?

How does one get through to those who've blinded themselves by wrapping their heads in the notion that Musk's their strongman hero to save them, the fact that he's a puppet icon being used to distract you and continue the maximisation of "profit" (aka wealth extraction maximisation). ... That he used Nikola Tesla's name...
