Can there be actual punishment for the people as well? I want to people going to jail for creating ai content and passing it off as reality.

This would essentially mean that every piece of data anywhere has to be signed by who's responsible for it. Unsigned data is illegal. It's exactly the future their trying to create and comments like this are helping.

No. You'd just arrest the owner of the account who posted it. Its pretty easy to tell rhe difference between someone maliciously posting misinfo with the intention to misinform vs some boomer who doesnt know its misinfo.
