I switched to gog years ago and was happy with it, but switched back to steam because of ease of use on the steam deck. would be really happy to switch back to gog again

Ever checked https://heroicgameslauncher.com/?

It's a launcher for GOG, EGS, Amazon Prime or whatever the name is these days, and still in beta, Zoom Platform. It has native Linux builds as AppImage, so you can run just by launching the file, without installing anything.

They're also on the fediverse if you'd be interested: @[email protected]

I've used heroic on my desktop. It's fine. Haven't tried it on a steam deck though

Unfideck plugin via Decky can really help with GOG integration on steam deck. You need to grab it on GitHub as it's not in the decky store

I have enjoyed this app when I was looking for a universal launcher and it was highly recommended. I just loved that it had sync options for basically every big game store you would have purchased games from, including at least some of the smaller ones. It was the first time i can truly see all the games in 1 spot.
