[META] New mods wanted
Today, we cleaned up the posts and reports for this community. When I was handed the reigns, there were ~70 unresolved reports. There are now 0.
I don't want another community to moderate, but if I must take one on, this is a great one. With that being said, if you want to help out, reply to this post, and after reviewing your history, you might become a wizard moderator.

I would be willing to help out. I am on Lemmy pretty much every day.
Pretty solid history! I've asked other mods to weigh in, but you're definitely on the short list. Once I have found new mods, I'll be dipping. I just wanted to help clean it up until we could find people who would take over.
I don’t mind pitching in, assuming Dolphin does a halfass good job of notifying about mods tasks pending.

I'm game. apparently I was a mod before and did nothing. Which until today did not know I was a mod of. Kind of like just a couple days ago I got a message saying I was mod of dataisbeautiful and had unanswered reports.

Oh yea forgot about that. That's because I got a new computer and never knew you could export or import all bookmarks/passwords/ and other things.
And apparently I need to create a .world account to be able to see reports AND I have to post here to be able to sign this alt as a mod. Tedious but ok. Here I am.

lol holy crap I was? I didn't know that, it wasn't until a few days ago I am a mod at dataisbeautiful. I can try to give it a shot.
That's up to the mods here, not me. I jumped in to clean it up (nazi postings were rampant), then find volunteers to take over.
I was top mod for less than an hour before I found suitable replacements.
full transparency - I advised them you might not be a good fit, as you didn't moderate when you were a mod of this community.
I like you mate but calling a little BS. People don't do nazi crap anymore. At least I have never seen it in lemmy.world. And if you did see it you should have messaged me because I love to hate nazi's and the like. I like the whole...i'll quit there before I get on a soap box.

I meant it tongue in cheek. Nazi crap is (in my opinion) a banable offense. I have the desktop wall paper of Captain America pointing at me with the words written below : I Want You To Punch Nazi's. Punch Every God Damn One.
