This occurred in 2022 & 2023. They are both still alive because of recent breakthroughs in cancer treatment. If it had happened just years prior, they would have only been given months to live. All traces of cancer have been removed from their bodies despite it being found far-spread and metastasized in both of them. Bill required immediate surgery upon discovery, his daughter went through a period of time where she thought she was going to die.
