GPS fails to connect
I joined the group and installed the app, but on startup it gets stuck on "Waiting for GPS".
I confirmed with maps and other gps based games that it should be working.

Hey, did you give the app "Precise GPS" permission? On the very first game start it's a bit more picky and needs a good GPS signal (stand near a window if you're indoor). That's due to the tutorial spawning.
After the tutorial it allows you in faster, but you might jump around a little when your GPS signal is poor :)
I did grant the precise permission. I'll try again tomorrow when I'm outside.
Please do, or just near a window :D See my reply below, I did find a bug that could make the GPS fix take longer than it should. So hopefully I can improve this soon.
I rushed out the next update (will be available in an hour or so), so by tomorrow when you update the app it should work much better.
I had another look, there is actually a bug in the startup code that might delay getting a GPS fix. I'm still working on a larger update, but by the weekend I should be able to push that and the fix out. Sorry for the inconvenience <3
