I assume the hedgehog have been around people in the area enough to "domesticate" itself, since, another assumption, the humans around it are decent people that cares for random creatures.

I use an android apk called "thunder" for Lemmy and it plays just fine for me.
I get other webm videos. And I'm on droid fwiw.

Boost does this with webm files. Click on the three dot menu between the post and the comments. Go to Share, Share Link, then share it to your browser. It should play fine there.

According to your screenshot, you have a share button on yours instead. It's the icon with three circles connected by two lines. Click that and share it to your internet browser.
