You need an archived link of Tate's tweet (or similar) for this, see rule 6. Everyone can help and you all have an hour.

Why is a mixed race immigrant to at least 3 different countries trotting out racist gibberish about black people like he's a white nationalist on the Steam forums?

73

I mean they both look black. Like pretty obviously. Not sure what they see in the mirror though

Seems a weird response.

When white people call out white washing of historically non-white people in movies, the response isn't to call out the critics ethnicity, no matter how crass/vitriolic their comments might be. Calling out Tate's race in response to his post feels sorta like fighting racism with more racism.

Like what prompted you to go after his race in your response?

It's an even weirder response. given the main point of the ops post is that he's been arrested on charges of rape and trafficking. Your post could plausibly get read as "Of course he's been arrested for rape and trafficking charges, he's literally half black". Which'd make your response racist in itself.

That's not at all the point this user is making. They are saying "its hypocritical or at least ironic that a black person would put down another black person. You are the same, why are you acting like you're not black?"

I'm sorry you had to waste time typing that out.

fighting racism with more racism.

You nailed it. Both sides are racist

are they? where? Aren't they hiding in Russia?

edit: Miami... so they'll get a pardon I guess

They’re not facing indictment here. They’re being extradited. I think it's to the UK. I’m assuming it’s not Romania even though they’ve missed a trial date bc we don’t do that with Romania?

oh, so there's hope? Does UK have extradition agreement with Romania?

If so, I really hope they lock them up for good as they fled directly after being released

2

I mean, they’re facing ~50 counts in the UK. Trump can not pardon crimes for other countries. Stopping their extradition is possible but it would have insane consequences.

I think that even if they had a treaty/agreement with Romania, they wouldn’t do it until they served their time?

No, they’ll get a job in the current administration. Probably some new rapey department. Maybe they’ll be the successors to Epstein.

14

Oh yeah didn't those fuckers crawl out of their hole to see the FIFA World Cup 🤣 Fraudsters of Masculinity.

If they take all of it, it won't fit on their little island and they'll have to start colonising again, nobody wants that

In the new movie The Odyssey, yes

Edit: I'm wrong as hell, literally just saw the movie but didn't really look closely at the image.

Helen is played by Lupita Nyong'o and that doesn't look like her to me.

Just saw the film yesterday. This frame isnt in the film. Its likely been doctored (with AI) to appeal to racists. So, the entire Tate fandom, who I guarantee never read "The Odyssey" outside of school, if that.

46

Yeah, unless this woman is a shark with a second row of bottom teeth, it's been doctored.

1

Ok yeah if you're doing a multiracial depiction of Homer she's an excellent choice for Helen

2

I hope the both of them are beaten within an inch of their lives in prison and then left to rot to death.

4

I skipped through the movie(on websites, shh) to find this scene for context and I had trouble finding any scene with her in it. Is she in the movie for like 30 seconds or something? Is that what these assholes are mad at?

Also, no one looks "pretty" while screaming, which is what she looks like she's doing here.

3

I saw it on Saturday and yeah she's barely in it. She maybe has around 5 minutes of screentime (and that's counting her narrating over flashbacks).

4

You reached the end
