We should stop all new data center construction immediately
It's an absolute waste of time and energy, it will be useless in a few years as AI becomes much more efficient.

Tldr; Data centers probably aren't being built for chatgpt speeds, but for the sheer size of modern surveillance.
I was thinking about Ai earlier. If anyone gave a fuck, they would at least put laws in place to not allow advertising within ai software and websites, and limit sales abuse like subscription plans and stuff like that.
It's crazy this isn't happening. It's not going anywhere... And it needs to be taken control of in that sense asap before it turns into everything else cool that gets fucked.
Also... Data centers are being built for surveillance. I'm assuming they are trying make surveillance of literally everyone's lives and ai automated for policing and profiling. That means, everything.... Data centers probably aren't being built for chatgpt speeds, but for the sheer size of modern surveillance.
It's fucked because I'm talking about this one small aspect of life... Ai... But in reality our entire lives are already fucked completely in all ways and our species is barely human anymore and instead we are more like cattle to rich people, or hoes owned by pimps. ...entranced by an illusion of freedom.
This is it 100%. the data centers aren’t for your use of AI, the data centers are for using AI to massively invade every aspect of your life and for complete 100% surveillance of the populace
They’re going to be used as data lakes for palantir so they’re going to be critical to the surveillance state regardless of how efficient AI is
