He won't. But nice to ask.
might as well ask him to become a nun. now that he's got power, he won't just give it away.
While I can imagine Burnham doing this, probably not in the remainder of the current term. First, it's not that long until the next GE and secondly it's a pretty big change to make; even with a mandate from the public, I'd be surprised if it wasn't subject to its own referendum.
