I didn't have to go in this morning. I woke up at 8:47 AM. I checked the court calendar to see if anything was going on. "Criminal Jury Trial: 9:00 AM" I order an uber, scramble to get dressed, scarf down cereal over the sink, get to the courthouse...not at our courthouse. at the rural courthouse 2 hours away.
I sat in on another hearing since I was there anyway, and it was good. It's just...I didn't have to get out of bed at all.
