Good for her!

Meanwhile in Europe… the European Union passed a law recently banning national governments from disclosing to the public a list of environmental data about data centers. Europeans can access aggregate info, but specifics about the environmental impact of any datacentre in particular is now secret.

These people, fucking over their constituency for a handful of billionaires, don’t deserve their positions.

That, but also the current concentration of wealth is an immense problem. These things are incredibly interconnected of course.

My point is that even if power didn't corrupt, everybody still has a price, and with wealth this concentrated, there will be someone who is able to pay it. Furthermore, even if there are measures against corruption, or someone is uncorruptible, etc. there will be a way around that if you throw enough resources at it to find it. Whether it's influencing public opinion through the media, spending decades changing the law incrementally, or just litigating everyone into oblivion, these people have the resources to be 10 steps ahead of activists and completely above-board.

We are getting really close to needed open revolt from the people. Happening all over the world. These asshats like Peter Theil think they're immune to consequences.

We are getting really close to needed open revolt from the people.

We were already there years ago. The best thing we've had to revolts are useless protests and a couple of badly-executed assassination attempts.

I really do think the there is going to be a worldwide revolution in the next decade. If we really think about it, Billionaires are a Global problem. Things like this are making an already tenuous situation even worse when it comes to Climate Change. They have been systematically attacking the institutions that hold them back from doing even worse all over the globe.

It's a trolley problem, Billionaires on one side, and the rest of us on the other. Do we actively try to do damage reduction even if it means using our fists(and more) or do we passively sit by and just get ran over?

People like you make me feel like the tankie conspiracies are right.

Nobody said anything about China... STFU

No one said anything about Europe either. The video is from Michigan. Why talking about Europe is fine but talking about China isn't?

Nobody said "what about Europe" like an idiot either. They made a relevant point that contributed meaningfully to the conversation.

But describing the situation in China will not contribute? Is your bias result of some trauma?

You didn't describe shit. You just said "what about China" like a Fox news anchor whenever any thing good is about to happen to Americans

I seriously have no idea what are you talking about 😂

Sorry for triggering you like that, wasn't my intention. I was just saying that talking about Europe under a video from Michigan is weird. Why not talk about China or Africa as well? They are about as much related.

In many jurisdictions I think you could successfully sue them for that

That's what I call getting bitch slapped. That woman even went for a loop to loop when it got to be her turn lol.

You reached the end

In a hearing on data centers, a resident of Tyrone Township, Michigan, asked a question: Have you signed a non-disclosure agreement? The majority of officials refused to answer | Spyke
