The optics are kind of hard to ignore on this one. A developers in trouble, Brookfield jumps in and works out a deal with them 15 days before carney says that the government will spend tens of billion dollars to bail them out and buy their properties.

The mainstream media is being a little quiet on this, this is kind of a big deal. This is all the makings of an snc lavalin scandal and they're kind of deliberately not talking much about it
