It's a Schrödinger port, you first have to collapse the superpisition by observation. It cannot be inserted until you look at it.

Thats perfect for people with weak or injured wrists. Just attempt port 1-2-1 instead of turning USB side up-down-up!

Works great until you want to leave a peripheral plugged in and still use one of the other ports.

I know we all love to make fun of this, but ever since someone pointed out to me that the plastic bar of the USB port is adjacent to the PCB/circuitboard - I’ve been able to plug the suckers in pretty much first try.

But THIS monstrosity on the other hand, is beyond explanation.

A truly evil person would stick an HDMI port in there among them. Or perhaps a power-only USB port.
