Electric Drums - What am I doing? XD
I have an ION audio drum rocker set for rock band and the Wii, but outside of my rock band career I’ve only ever played guitar. However as Freddie Mercury once put it, I want to break free.
I want to say that when I purchased it a couple of decades ago I did so under the belief that it was mostly a real electronic drum set. It certainly elevated my rock band fun.
It is basically what is pictured in the listing, but with three cymbals and two kicks. Each piece is connected to the gaming module with a guitar cable connector.
My question: If I want to turn this into an actual set, is there a decent module that I can pick up that will act as an amp and (I suppose) synthesizer? I’d love to just spin up some tunes without worrying about the Wii and get better with them as actual drums.

They are most likely made with piezo triggers, and in that case you can use them with most drum-modules.
Do they have a female jack? the Alesis modules all have jack inputs for triggers, but some modules use a "snake" with male jacks.
The pads and symbols all have mail. I don't recall how the pedals work, but I suspect at least one is male.

Btw. you can sometimes find the old DM4 and 5 dirt cheap second hand, I bought a DM4 rack-version for about 30Euro last year.

I would guess the alesis dm10 is the direct replacement. You can ask their tech support for help at least and get something - since it is all theirs they might be helpful.
Make sure you take lessons and ptactice. Without a commitment to practice you won't get better.

Hey, everyone, quick update and thanks. I know a guy out west who happened to have a DM10 and we worked out a trade.
Short story-I'm rocking out on some headphones in my attic space.
