They are always good to work into a set with a little Aurelio Voltaire, scary bitches, zombina, or the darkest of the hillside thickets. Hillside tickets also being fellow Canadians.

They are Psychobilly royalty along with the Reverend and the Meteors.

Rockabilly is considered a blend of country/R&B/Rock&Roll. Psychobilly upgrades Rock & Roll to Punk with a massive sprinkling of horror. And yeah, DaG are definitely punk as fuck. P. Paul Fenech (the Meteors) and Mark "Sparky" Philips (DaG) both have that rough rumbling gravely voice that really kind of screams dirty raw punk. So similar that just hearing them you might almost think they were the same person LOL.

Though Mark has done a few duets with Emanuela Hutter of Hillbilly Moon Explosion. Not as punk but absolutely epic

This is the only psychobilly that I have experience with. Obviously more of a country/hillbilly vibe.

Definitely bit more of a classic country western vibe. 🙂 I suppose it could be the other side of psycho-billy from horror punk. 🤘And then there's Tiger Army regularly doing country western ballads with a bit more of a punk rock feel.
