I don't typically do cozy games, but I'm all for new ideas like this. I'd give it a shot.
I love different takes on series like this. I always wanted a Metal Gear Rising but with Dad missions instead of VR missions. Raiden has to cut the corners off sandwiches and race down buses to return forgotten homework.
This could definitely be fun
