I agree with the other post, this is likely a nymph of something. Doesn't look like the nymph of any leafhopper though and that's the only real idea I had. Not an entomologist and I'm really bad at identifying nymphs.
Doesn’t look like a caterpillar to me. It has well-defined legs (not prolegs which larvae are known to have) and looks a lot like a plant hopper of some kind to me. I am not an expert, and I can’t conclusively say if those hairs are irritants.

Likely a slug moth caterpillar. You should be careful not to touch it, the spikes can irritate the skin.
