DJI drones banned in the US, and insight on how China bans them too.
DJI is suing the US government over the bans and yet they are banned to operate or be sold in Beijing. DJI is a company based in Shenzhen, China so you can see this hypocrisy.

He claims that DJI can access all of the footage I've taken. How is this possible?
I use an RC2 controller with the built in Android device. It doesn't have internet access. I don't use my phone to download pictures and video - when I get home, I pull the SD card out and read it off that.
I do occasionally boot the controller and drone at home to check for software updates, but that's it. Most of my flying is done in a disconnected state.
So unless the controller also has a cellular modem (which would be slow, even with 5G service), I'm just not seeing how dji would get that video.
Where are these ads coming from? On Jerboa.
It's not an "ad," but a promotion that the YouTuber had on the video description. Your client is trying to be helpful by including the description, but the YouTuber is using that space for promoting a sponsor. Maybe you can return video descriptions off?

It's a Lemmy reader. These seem to be coming up in all YouTube posts.
Well that sucks, YT must have change something to let them thru. Not surprising they have been going after all adblockers w/ a vengeance.
