Also, the sequel/reboot/what-have-you is entirely in the same spirit and I love it. I LOVE IT!

Liam Neeson was perfect for the role. Much like Leslie Nielsen back in the day, he practically never played any comedic roles, perfectly serious all the time.

And here I thought they were just looking for a similar name in the hopes we won't notice the change.

Alright, I'm a fair bit drunk and "Like a blind man at an orgy, I was going to have to feel my way around."

Til next time.

I fully expected to hate the new one, but the first 2/3rds was hilarious, then it just felt like a generic action movie ending. Still great though

You can fight buildings, it's just more difficult, and you'll usually need better weapons than your own fists.

Any weapon that's effective enough and it'll go from a fight to a demolition (or bombing, which isn't a fight either), though.

So I'd agree that you CAN fight a building, but you're gonna lose.

Unless you're superpowered, in which case clobbering buildings is usually not the best use of your time and ability 🤷🏻

I loved the old films but didn’t like the new one. I felt its heart was in the right place, it just wasn’t as funny. The jokes weren’t as thick and fast and they milked them when they thought they had a good one. The originals didn’t care if you found a joke funny, a few seconds later they were delivering the next one.
