From Bat World Sanctuary:

Recently, we received a local rescue call for this young Eastern red bat, now lovingly named Sweetie.

She was found grounded in a neighborhood yard behind Jimmy's Cafe in Mineral Wells, and our team went out to safely retrieve her.

The good news is that Sweetie was in decent condition when she arrived. She still has an important milestone ahead of her, though-mastering flight school!

She'll remain in our care until she's flying confidently and ready for release back into the wild.
