The most unreliable escalator in Montreal?
It goes up one floor. It's indoors. It's narrow. It only carries people with books. It doesn't get wet, or get pebbles in the grooves. It has been repaired many times, and even recently completely replaced as far as I know.
How is this thing always down? Anyone know?

I thought the one in Place Montreal Trust was the most unreliable, always broken? The one facing Ste-Catherine, next to Indigo…
I'm learning there's a shortage of technicians and parts. Oh well. I just get peeved when this happens at the library, mostly because going up that staircase there's always someone blocking it. Like, move over.
I thought the whole point of escalators is that they always work, even when they weren't moving
Those are called "stairs".
