Those wheels still seem like a weak point, but maybe not.

If someone hasn't already they should make some good drone/explosion/shrapnel resistant wheels for these things. Who needs comfort when its unmanned!

Ed8lit: Even some armor on the outside of the wheels could maybe help.

If they haven't already done so, using solid rubber tires reduces vulnerability to punctures and shrapnel damage by a lot.

This is, of course, at the expense of added weight, but without the need for reducing vibrations for human drivers and passengers' comfort, it's definitely do-able.

Also without the rather large and squishy control system thats uniquely vulnerable to concussive damage
