World's richest man tells people they need to procreate.

Makes sense. Customers aren't going to fuck themselves... Oh wait

Are the patented seeds the ones that can survive the known carcinogen gliphosate?

Personally, I'm a huge fan of permaculture. We should stop using huge monocrop fields sprayed with highly cancerous pesticides and herbicides. We should be avoiding tilling and instead using interplanting, cover crops, and crop rotation to build up the natural soil biology. This also means way less petroleum based fertilizers. Instead we grow a soil that improves itself through healthy fungi and microbiological life.

The healthy farm should be growing a soil that improves yields every year without added synthetic fertilizers, tilling, herbicides, or pesticides.

That’s just a small subset of what’s possible with genetic engineering (see interesting stuff like golden rice), but yes, Roundup Ready crops are patented seeds.
