Bring back the harpsichord! It’s such a wonderful instrument with a timbre that brings such a unique quality to the music. We are worse off for leaving it behind. I even often like it more than the piano

I’m in the market to get a completely fresh set of winter clothing, but what materials should I be looking for and which companies should I be buying from? I’ve heard good things about Merino wool and alpaca fur, but a lot of that stuff is mixed with synthetics. Anything completely compostable out there?

I know Lang Lang can be a controversial musician, but outside of his drama and antics (which I honestly do find fun), this is such an interesting and undeniably Lang Lang interpretation. Since I’m far from a piano expert, here’s another excellent performance that the comments recommended for comparison.
Don’t know if this is the right community for this, but I have some nice linen and cotton button down shirts that range from minorly (unevenly) yellowed to rather noticeably so. I’m currently trying to sun bleach them, but if some of them are too far gone, I’ve heard that dyeing shirts can breathe new life into them. What exactly would be the best way to go about that?

This is such a fun march, but God is it hard. Those poor trombones’ arms have to be flying. Definitely a top tier screamer nonetheless
I made this recipe a couple of days ago. Was an absolute pain in the butt to toast the sugar and grind all the spices, but it is absolutely worth it. I made it without the roasted soy powder, but the dough still came together and they firmed up excellently. You will want to keep an eye on these cookies as they bake though. I found them to be perfect after 10-12 minutes and way overdone at 16.
I’m reading through a basic music theory book right now, and they mentioned Liebestraum No. 3, a piece who’s name I didn’t recognize. Of course I now know this is a famous work I’ve heard probably 100s of times, but this was my first full listen through. An absolute delight
My tuba idol is definitely Carol Jantsch. I find her deft use of range and superb dexterity so impressive. She is such an accurate player. Truly a joy to listen to. Her performance of Frosty the Snowman and Variations is particularly impressive. Are there any other tuba players that y’all find interesting?
