Berry smoothie

A friend had a kidney transplant and bought a lot of frozen fruit after that. As happens a lot in cases like that they can't eat the frozen fruit anymore because of medication interactions. So they gave it to us.

Frozen fruit, yogurt, honey, heavy cream. Cost per person: 60¢ If we bought the fruit? Maybe $1.30?

Man that sounds incredible, I might have to buy a blender so I can do this! How did it turn out?

Tasty. I used slightly more fruit than yogurt. I'd probably do more of a 1:1 ratio.

Oh, as for blenders, it's way too easy to spend way too much on a blender. One of those multi canister Ninja blenders with the motor on top are really inexpensive and super functional.

This is what I've had for about 20 years but it doesn't look like they make it any more. Not sure what the closest active model is.

Kombucha makes a surprisingly good additive to smoothie recipes, if you're so inclined. Looks tasty though, were you satisfied with how it turned out?

Kombucha is a lot of extra work in a house without very good temperature control like mine.
