Every single one of those people need to be released with full pardons and given 1 million dollar compensation for every month they spent behind bars.

And where would the money come from? Just take some of Musk's or Zuckerberg's stock and liquidate it. If their lawyers give any trouble then they need to be put in solitary until they crack (which could be as little as 30 minutes).

Well...pardons work both ways, don't they? Trump's time in power is rather limited at this point.

And his history of pardoning real criminals and genuine terrorists is well established.

When biden pardoned his son, it seemed like a dick move, but the accusations against his son were 100% politically motivated. Trump's own sons did far, far worse and similar shit but got no legal trouble.

Also biden commuting the federal death sentences of all federal inmates except for a few was also justified. Trump went insane with executions. He executed more people than any president of the 20th century. FDR had a record... But he was a 3 term president and half his executions were German saboteurs during ww2. Trump almost beat his record in 6 months... And I should mention that post 1963 until 2020 the US federally only executed 3 people. They were under Bush, and one of them was Timothy McVeigh.

Got it, no reason to not be violent now.

Since your life is forfeit either way.

One of the guys shot one of the ICE agents and they gave him 100 years.

Ultimately I agree with you, but still.

The rest who didn't shoot an ICE agent got 50 years minimum by that headline. Perverse incentives are now in force: it's better to shoot them all in the hopes of there being no witnesses left behind than it is to be peaceful. Not a whole lot of difference between being stuck in the slammer for half a century vs. a whole century.

It is beyond meaningful lifespan anyway. Even if you were a young 20 year old, if you are locked up for 50 years you would be 70 when considering release. They won't release you even then because it is unlikely that you will have anyone to pick you up or help you get on your feet, and after 50 years of being in prison most people cannot function.

Imagine if someone locked up in 1976 was released in 2026. You think they will know how to even look for a job or a place to live? No amount of prerelease education will prepare them for that.

ACW v2.0 has been brewing since at least the '90s. Probably much earlier, but the '90s was when I went Down South for a job interview and got the USA's vibes and newped the fuck out.

Is there a difference? The shooter wasn't zero years old.

Don't get caught, don't act recklessly if your going to try pulling stuff like that.

I hope we do not get pulled into any war, let it be the second US civil war or Trump’s extra middle east war. If either of those wars get worse I see a whole lot of trouble.

Bro asking Donald to not start wars is like trying to pry cookie monster from his namesake.

“Most often, judges will sentence defendants for separate counts concurrently. Here, it appears that the judge stacked the sentences for each count consecutively. I would have expected lengthy sentences here, more in the ballpark at 15 to 25 years, but nothing like 50 to 100 years,” she wrote in an email.

15 to 25 years for this is absurd as well, while I do not agree with shooting anyone history has shown that “law” enforcement down there can be rather trigger happy and these people where in danger.

A few of the protesters spontaneously broke off from the main group and vandalized cars in the parking lot, a guard shack, slashed the tires on a government van and broke a security camera. When a police officer arrived on the scene and drew his weapon, one of the activists fired an AR-15 from the woods, hitting the officer in the shoulder.
