Oh, then maybe a better word would be 'depressing' or 'alarmist' depending on your angle. I found it amusing that they didn't shy away from the topics of bullying and peer pressure enabled by unrestricted access to technology, while also not succumbing to typical 'technology bad' trope. Imo the message was very well balanced, but that's just Pixar being Pixar.
