The real tldr is that these businesses are looking for people that not only can perform, but can improvise and improve their environment.
Not all businesses want this. Many many places pretend they want a talent, but then fund ways to weed them out or develop them into b/c talents. The Bs do the lion share of the work,feeling like As, and the Cs either stick around forever or eventually become D talent that actively hinders progress.
