JohnnyEnzyme replypiefed.socialNot sure what 'groupthink' you're talking about, but I find this an interesting premise: Professor Jiang explains how the Bronze Age global trade network was a proto-capitalistic system, and therefore bound to collapse hard and fast. Sounds about right. I'm not (sadly?) going to sit through the whole lecture, but I'd be curious to hear what his thoughts might be on the Sea Peoples. Also, what's up with him lecturing in English to Beijing HS? Is it an international school, perhaps..?1
