Video game adaptations are effective marketing. I'll say from experience, the Fallout show was the most effective commercial I'd ever seen. They probably hoped it would lead me to playing Fallout 76 like it did for so many other folks, but I played Fallout 2 instead.

It was the only mainline game I hadn't played at the time. I still haven't played Tactics, Shelter, or 76 and don't really intend to.

Shelter was pretty fun, played it for a few months when it came out. Obviously if you're not a fan of the genre already it probably doesn't offer much for you.

I enjoyed Tactics, but that was also when it was relatively new. It may be worth checking out still if you like squad-based strategy games.

I absolutely HATED playing as V but despite that 5 was still my favorite in the series after 3.

Love the DMC games and in glad they're getting more love. I think Dante's Royal Guard is the best "parry" mechanic in all of gaming and I think parries should head in this direction
