It's Tuesday 06/09/2026. Hey, What's Going On!
Our power went out at 2:00AM this morning due to storms. Power is out across the city. I am typing this by lantern. I don't know if I can go to work today as of right now I cannot make coffee.

I accidentally poured tapwater over my coffee in my french press this morning (I apparently forgot to hit the button on the kettle to heat the water and definitely failed to check). It was alright, if weak, impromptu cold-brew. Hope your power comes back soon!
That's a "give up and stay home" situation.
I wish. For me it's a wait for the storm to clear and then go fix things.

Wait, you have a lantern but not a camping stove and coffeepot? I'm too hooked to risk it. I even have a jar of instant and a hand shaker to true emergencies ;)
It's an emergency lantern for this reason.

Got my assessment today, and the diagnosis is confirmed.
There's a ton of information there about me, but I'm kind of disappointed that it was mostly stuff I already knew. Not a ton of new solutions. I suppose at the very least I might feel more confident in saying "no" to things.
