I watched this solely because it had Coheed and Cambria as the soundtrack for one of the trailers. As I recall, the movie didn't really hold up that well. Still love me some Co&Ca, though.

It had terrible writing. Sad, because everything else was amazing. The setting, design and animation. Just a little better writing and it would have been legendary.
Imagine a remake but with stop motion. It would probably flop at the box office but still.

The short was great.
The actual movie is the closest I've been to walking out of a theatre. Anime in disguise, poorly written, poorly acted, poorly directed piece of shit.
