Plane hijackings, bombings, kidnappings, assassinations, murders and generally doing shit that we haven't seen in quite a while (at least in Europe).
So yeah, calling anything in America or Europe "extreme left" these days is really an indication that person using those terms is a moron.
And in 2025, we have idiotic US "study" that considers mentally ill person that surrenders to police babbling nonsense as a "left wing terrorist attack".

You forgot the big part that drives these people to consistently vote against their own interests: they've been told certain groups are the reason they experience difficulty and discomfort and, if elected, their politicians will punish these people.
