its just for online collaboration and as some point out low power devices. Im with you though. I generally just do office things on my computer and that does not need to be online. Heck I don't even do all that much office stuff nowadays.

EuroOffice/OnlyOffice is considered to have a cleaner/easier user interface, while LibreOffice is a more comprehensive and mature product.
