Wow I just looked that up apparently in about one hour under general anesthesia, you, too can have your testicles removed. Crazy world we live in. I had to have a camera snaked up my urethra once. Fully awake no meds or anything. Can’t imagine going into a doctors office and an hour later walking out with no balls.

The surgery is quick but then you can take hours to wake up and recovery enough to be sent home to recovery more. I was my friend's ride and their surgery was at 8 am and we didn't leave until 8 pm.

Though, maybe theirs was rougher than usual because it was due to cancer and they needed to remove more bits than usual? I don't know, I'm no expert, just a one-time orchiectemy wingman.

TIL: This is different than a vasectomy.

Like I know a vasectomy involves the vas deferens but thought it was like the difference between a partial hysterectomy and a total hysterectomy.

There’s a Vas Deferens between an orchiectomy and a vasectomy!

My friend, no matter what the details are, your hair is absolutely lovely.

Also, congratulations!
