Buried fiber optic cable finder.
That's why I always keep a length of fiber optic cable in my backpacking kit. If I get lost, I'll just bury the cable and wait for the backhoe to show up so I can follow its tracks back to civilization.
Google map services hate this one offline trick!
They work quite well on other buried services too.
