I just read the article. I didn't see anything about them having to "immediately leave the premises."
He is saying that they're paid through the last show, then they're not paid anymore. And they (his staff, not the production crew) have a week to get their stuff out, which seems like plenty of time. He said he's already completely packed. The crew has as much time as it takes to "wrap".

This can't be remembered too much. Trump sued CBS because he's a thin-skinned bitch who can't take a joke. Paramount needed the Trump administration's approval for their giant merger, so they directly paid the president $15 million dollars in a
legal bribe"settlement" of his anti free-speech lawsuit that he would have never won. Colbert pointed this out, so they punished the comedian, along with his entire staff and crew...I cant wait for the ratings tank after the last show. I think most are ignoring it for now because nothing has changed yet
