I quite like that you dislike it ... but personally, I do dislike it too

Ears on helmets were common in the 1920's but the Nazis almost wiped them out. It's only been in the last 10 years or so that they're finally starting to make a comeback.

I find assholes riding around with Nazi helmets something to dislike.

It had meaning 1945-50, but it means something very different since then.

An old friend I used to ride with would often scratch his helmet as if to scratch his head all the time. I would often forget that he did this and I would honestly think he was scratching his head .... then realize several minutes and several miles down the road that he's wearing a freakin helmet. If he wore this kind of helmet AND scratched his head, I would have died laughing as I rode off the highway and into the bushes.

@ininewcrow That is the most disturbing image I've seen in months.

Alt text: A middle-aged white man in a motorcycle gear store wearing a motorcycle helmet that has an image of his ear and clean-shaven pink scalp on the helmet so that it looks like a larger version of his actual head.

This helmet is actually unsafe because if I saw someone wearing it on the road, I'd be so distracted, I'd cause an accident
