I have 20 yo pc magazines and they still haven’t changed their design at all
True. I walked by it and thought "ah funny back then they already mentioned linux as a way out of windows". After that thought i looked at the date and was suprised it is from this year.
Wait, do I see physical media in there? Wild. Are disc drives more common in Germany or is it a metaphorical disc and they kept the design for some reason?
Their audience is the kind of person who still buys paper magazines, so...
Most PC and gaming magazines come with DVDs. I really wouldn't say that PCs with disk drives are uncommon here.
Did you guys have magazines with distro media back then? CentOS, Debian, Slackware, Mandrake, Knoppix, etc.
I've seen a few pics of those but it was before my time. I've only been into Linux since 2012 or so.
