Describe your favourite and least favourite board game in one sentence
Ideally without mentioning its name, I'll start
- unspoken cooperation playing cards to survive in space (or underwater)
- tax simulator but you're trying to make the red planet liveable

Cars jockeying for position as they run laps, hoping they don't crash
Fuck your sheep, wood, grain and roads, I hate this island and want to leave
Crazy Karts and Catan?
That first one sounds like every racing game ever, so I’ll guess a good one: Rallyman GT?
Bingo!
I couldn't find a way of distinguishing it from other racing games without giving it away, but personally, I love Rallyman GT but don't so much love other racing games, because the positioning and how it impacts you and other players is much more important in Rallyman
I would guess Heat and Catan (Heat would deserve the praise ahah)
Rallyman GT. I like the PvP element of Rallyman more than Heat or Formula D.
Formula D
Agreed on your second. Why do so many people like it?
Rallyman GT. I enjoy it much much more than Formula D. Formula D didn't have enough crunch for me
Yeah, idk. Bad starting positions basically doom your chance to win before they've even begun.
Keep the werewolves at bay by having the lowest hand.
Fuck you and your thimble!
Waters rise.
Sands shifted.
Forbidden Island!
Forbidden Desert!
Wait so desert was your least favorite? I found it adequately challenging compared to island which felt a bit too easy for a co-op game :o
I think for the group I was playing with, Forbidden Island was more accessible. It's probably not my absolute least favorite game, but I was curious if anyone would pick up on the games with just two word sentences. 😂
We're going to Center City to play with the game pieces.(The only hint I'll give ya is not the Checker pieces. Go Birds!)
Last time we parked on Pennsylvania Ave we saw a dude get stabbed on our way to Tropicana.
Worker placement, time travel, apocalyptic, escape story.
Stop asking if I’m a supernatural creature.

High Frontier
Nordic Tetris.
Let's all watch one person get lucky with some die rolls and slowly take everything from everyone else.
You only have cards to set up your space empire, potentially trade based
Infinite miniatures allow you to defend or attack the Shire
"global thermonuclear war, and I'm Joshua."
This game has too many damn pieces for a game about birds and is effectively over by the second turn so now everyone else sits and waits for the end game conditions, just going through the motions.
Cooperative dungeon crawl with cowboys and tentacles.
The winner has been determined within the first hour, but there's 5 hours left of this godforsaken rail game.
Alternate set:
Supremely tuned deck based dungeon crawl.
Supremely tuned deck based dungeon crawl with snow.
(Apart from the usual suspects, I don’t have a least favourite, therefore here one I just don’t enjoy)
-False cooperating game where you try to survive in a spaceship infested with aliens. One of the first "new generation game" I've played since I got back to board games (I played family boardgames as a kid and RPGs and Warhammer Battle as a teen). What a blast! Everytime!!
-That old real estate hoarding game. Years ago, when we (small family) decided to buy some games, I included that one as a "classic everyone has" but right during the first game I realized how terrible it really is.
::: spoiler my guesses I think it's Nemesis but I'm not sure, the other one is obviously Monopoly, all my homies hate Monopoly :::
Yes and yes!
My competitor bought out prime real estate and I just got free parking.
Jupiter's cock!
Oh another bland mishmash of mechanics made by Stonemaier games :<
