Whats the rules on talking about diy hrt here?
hi, sorry i dont understand, im just a bit confused on weather i can ask about advice for diy hrt around here and what the rules on talking about diy hrt are. Yes i read the rules, but my yeee yeee ass brain cant seem to understand them.

Most are supportive of DIY because we know it's very difficult to get prescriptions in much of the world right now. But be specific on what you're asking and it doesn't hurt to mention if prescription is not possible for you so you don't get lectured about the risks of DIY as much. But yeah, there's a lot of low quality stuff out there taking advantage of the market created by the hate, so start conservative on dosage, be aware of common contaminants in whatever you're using (such as heavy metals and toxic fillers), take it slow, and don't get frustrated if it takes a little time to take effect. But overall, enjoy it.
And I support diy because what I do with my biochemistry in none of the government's business! Fuck the state!
I don't have so much of a problem with my doctor knowing, but she's required to fill out my journal which under normal circumstances can only be accessed by medical professionals who are involved in my treatment (or the equivalent of child protective services). But, if Norway goes the same way as the USA, there's nothing stopping the government from just taking the information by use of either changing the laws or commanding one of the organisations that are already legally allowed to access it. So it's best if it's not there to begin with.

See this is part of what's so frustrating with government trying to control any medicines like this. If someone does something to themselves and it's not impacting anyone else, they should leave it alone and let the person have their liberty to do to themselves as they please.
Unfortunately while some form of government is necessary, it's made up of people who want to be there. And the only people who want to be in government are the sort of people who want to have control over other people. It doesn't matter what sort of government you have, it's always going to lean towards the authoritarian side.
That mindset is surely there, but it is also filled with people that really want to help and are part of government to serve and help the people of the country. I've been lucky enough to know many of those people over the years. The unfortunate part is the domineering ones tend to take the leadership roles where this nuance would actually matter most. :/
