In my case it allows me to rot on the couch without having to pay close attention to something new; but it’s interesting enough to distract me from my own thoughts.
they also have literal life support system. unfortunately at any sign of emergency on the horizon they take all the power away from it and put it into shields. not sure if professional therapist would approve of this strategy.

That's not the first time I've heard about watching Star Trek as helping to cope. Or should I say re-watching Star Trek. What is it?
