That article pissed me off. They never state the intended solution despite mentioning its existence. Clickbait is the worst

There is no intended solution. That’s the point.

Because some employers want to see how you attack a problem that has no clear answer.

However, they also don't ask the question any more because it didn't correlate with job performance, so take from that what you will.
