Dutch cities look like what uk cities should look lilke. The similarities in architecture, even in street design, is always startling to me. But I guess it's because they're both significant reformation countries, same climate, and used lots of clay brick in the industrial revolution.

Anyway, again: the Netherlands is like the uk but with less cars and less-ugly towns.

Usually less cars make any street less ugly. So less ugly streets = more beautiful town.
