Something basic maybe? Like regular fantasy, though if it involved or was about trekking over a mountain range that would be cool. Beginner friendly if possible, not a giant concern. Level 1 through 5 or 10 maybe.
[email protected] Crown of the Kobold King might be your best bet. It does assume some system knowledge and general TTRPG knowledge, though.
Rusthenge is more beginner friendly, but doesn't really play with classic fantasy environments.
Season of Ghosts is considered to be one of the best adventures, but I think it runs a little long for you, and, again, isn't set in a classic western fantasy setting. It's very beginner friendly, though.
Sky King's Tomb is a Dwarven adventure that's well reviewed. It's apparently somewhat combat heavy. It's not specifically written with newbies in mind, so it's going to assume some passing familiarity with TTRPGs and the system to some extent.
Ive only played free ones, pfs, and then the assasin one. oh and beginners box. they were all fun. I think you need to give some detail on what your looking for as most of the modules kinda have a schtick (dungeon crawl, magic school, assasin group, etc.)
I mean tbh I've never played a module. Ever. All my campaigns have been homebrew and all have fizzled out bc of me, figured I'd try doing things the traditional way.
why not do one of the free rpg day one shots and see how it goes. if folks like then pick up an adventure path after finding out what the groups would like best. I can say the one krampus one was fun. I think that was a free rpg one at least.
Highly recommend starting with beginner box. It's beginner friendly for GMs and players. There are two floors and each floor is about 3-4 hours.
If you have a good time then Abomination Vaults is a 3 book adventure that covers levels 1-10. It ties directly into Beginner Box if you want or you can start Abom Vaults with new characters and from the very start. Abomination vaults is a mega dungeon so lots of combat opportunities, but it also has lots of roleplay potential too depending on how the players approach each floor.
What kind of module? What level range?

Thank you for these! I'll check all of these out but Crown of the Kobold King and Sky Kings Tomb sound the most interesting to me.
