I should have added that link to the post body text (did it just now). I usually do it on autopilot for Steam/GOG store pages and trailers.

If you are using a VPN and don't have a reddit account then the reddit link is equally worthless. It's blocked.

Try this one: nerdvpn instance

Not sure if they block VPNs too, but there are a bunch of other instances that proxy/clean up reddit, you can use something like libredirect to automate the redirection and instance list management.

This was so helpful, thank you so much! I genuinely couldn’t find any solutions to the reddit vpn thing, so I just stopped using reddit. Web searches are garbage now, can’t believe I didn’t find this.

VPN sure, it can be annoying.

I didn't know Reddit blocked access when you don't have an account. It works fine on desktop without logging in, on mobile web for some content they lie about "this content has not been reviewed", but one click on the view desktop mode suddenly makes this a non-issue. Could be a geography based restriction.

P.S. I am not saying they are lying about the review status of content, they are lying about the reason for not showing content on mobile without logging in.

Mechanize suggested the nerdvpn link, it works!

Otherwise, on PC or mobile Reddit is blocked for me like forever. I never turn off the VPN, so I did not use Reddit in a long time (and usually nothing of value was lost).

I gave up at 'article continues below' and not being able to find the rest of it around the garbage.
