A solid option; consistent rhyme and meter, well written. Not that it would stop me, but it has been put to music by the great Benjamin Britten. I'm not going to listen to it in case I decide to write my own music, but here's a performance.

thank you (not !) for sharing. I’ma fan of Benjamin Britten, and I’m a fan (I know I’m sexist, sue me) of young blondes, but that was dreadful.

Heh Sometimes when I’m feeling a certain way I pull that out and listen to it. I can honestly say that not many things really hit me hard. But that always does.

Anyway, I’m glad I could share it with someone at least. I hope you have a good day, or evening, or whatever it is where you are.
