I really want the full 9 card set in English but can’t justify to myself spending that much on cards right now. Only gonna be more expensive tho. Guess I’ll wait til 40th or 50th anniversary and hopefully they’ll have cards in shelves again.
Yea, i would have loved the English ones too but couldnt justify the cost. These cost me about £15 total. The English ones are £50 per box where I am (if i can get them) and obviously no guarantee of what you'll pull. Still these look nice on my desk so i'm happy to have them.
Yea they look great. Do you have the other starter set with squirtle in a pool and the charmander from obsidian?
No, unfortunately not. I just started collecting again at the end of last year after a 25 year hiatus. (We dont talk about what happened to that early collection)
Ah you got in at a bad time. It’s nearly impossible to get cards at retail price. Scalpers and resellers run the market. Sorry about your old collection!
I live in asia and am lucky enough to get hold of Japanese boxes for close to price. English cards no chance though.
Nice! Korean and Chinese are good quality too.
