Oh this poor guy, his style is a major inspiration for slop, the lighting and coloration screamed diffusion model.

Which sucks for people that actually create their own art that falls into a category that was used to train with. They get accused of slop when it isn't. Makes filtering difficult too.

I think in some of the games the platform lowers to ground level, like the post telescopes up

That completely tracks for the way tech was conceptualized back in the sci-fi heydays. I'm going with this

My personal guess is that someone takes a ladder there, then brings it back to base, because fuck whoever is supposed to be on watch duty

Something I've always appreciated about the original Star Wars is just how close to McQuarie's concept art the final character and set design ended up being. It's such a triumph of practical effects, and it's a shame that George Lucas decided to ruin it with subsequent releases

A photo was provided. For you, it is bad form to accuse art of being AI without any articulatable reason and without having even done a cursory image check. Going around accusing random pieces of art of being AI makes you a nuisance rather than a hero.

Okay. Let's try this again. Instead of "boo that looks like AI to me", a statement like "how do I tell whether something like this is AI or not? I'm not much of an artist" comes across as genuine, wanting to learn and interact instead of being a hostile wart on everyone's ass. How would you like to proceed?
